Modor Music is a small synthesizer company based in Belgium. In 2015 they started with the NF-1 synthesizer, a digital subtractive synthesizer with innovative new waveforms and a weird but very useful formant filter section.
In 2020 Modor launched the DR-2 drum machine, a digital 6-instrument drum synthesizer with an extensive step sequencer, 17 digital synthesis models, a compressor per channel, separate outputs and a stereo mixing section.
Both the NF-1 and DR-2 are still in production today. In 2017-2018 the smaller NF-1m synthesizer and 3 eurorack modules were released as side steps from the NF-1, they have recently been discontinued.
In general, Modor Music builds big, white, and very hands-on digital synthesizers, and is constantly looking for unexplored ways of sound synthesis.
